| In 2007 and 2008, the first editions of the iShares Cup provided some breathtaking racing, but this 2009 season promises to
be even more staggering both on shore and on the water. The third edition of the iShares Cup will once again gather together
all the ingredients necessary for a gripping and hotly contested competition.

The entire iShares 2009 circuitAfter an initial conspicuous participation in Marseilles in 2007 under the Groupama colours resulting in a superb second
place after having led proceedings for a long while on a catamaran he was only just getting to know, Franck Cammas repeated
the experience in Cowes in 2008 with the BMW Oracle Team.
Boosted by these two short experiences, the Groupama
skipper is committing himself to the 2009 circuit with a perfectly prepared boat in the colours of his loyal partner.
His goal is to continue making further progress against the top catamaran specialists and, why not actually win the trophy
for this circuit created by Mark Turner and his associate, Dame Ellen MacArthur.

Racing beasts!!!The creators of the Extreme 40 catamaran have taken the largest and fastest boat of the Olympic classes and doubled its
size for even more power.
Action and adrenalin are the basic materials required for the Extreme 40. There is
no fleet of racing boats capable of equalling the Extreme 40 in terms of the speed and . Without a keel,
these catamarans can sail across shallow waters and provide spectators with some explosive action scenes.
With wind
and little resistance on the water, the Extreme 40s literally take off like planes. In barely 15 knots of wind, they can reach
speeds of over 25 knots.
