"The rookie of the trip! Familiar with the acrobatics of the foredecks in top level racing, his youthful enthusiasm is highly infectious. He's a perfect companion to be roped together with!"

Bruno Jeanjean - © Yvan ZeddaDirector of the Palavas les Flots marina, Bruno Jeanjean joined the Groupama team in 2005, sailing alongside Franck Cammas on the Grand Prix circuit. During these events he took up position as gennaker trimmer.

As such he was part of the `dream team' with which Groupama 2's skipper won every Grand Prix raced over a two year period.

He never gives up!

A match racing specialist (World Champion in 1994 with Bertrand Pacé), he has also participated in the America's Cup on three occasions: aboard French Kiss in 1987, on Ville de Paris in 1992, and lastly, four years on, the America's Cup Class France 2, each in the company of Marc Pajot.

Present aboard Groupama 3 during the victorious record attempt between Miami and New York in 2007 and again during the North Atlantic record attempt last summer, this sailor, affectionately nicknamed Nono for the past twenty years or so, will be one of the three bowmen aboard, together with Le Goff and Caraës. He is also one of the three round the world rookies, along with Cammas and Ravussin. Like them, he never gives up.
